Ronald C Mamrick, DDS, PC
Dr. Ron Mamrick is a native of Youngstown, Ohio. An excellent golfer, he attended Kent State University on a golf scholarship and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1993 earning his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. He then achieved a Master’s Degree in Physical Chemistry from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He obtained his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors from the VCU-Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 2000. He then completed the prestigious Advanced Dental Residency at UNC-Chapel Hill.
Dr. Mamrick worked in private practice as an Associate Dentist from 2001 until 2009. In March 2009, he opened his own dental practice in Midlothian, VA.
Because of his commitment to help his patients obtain the highest level of oral health possible, he actively participates in various local dental study clubs and attends various continuing education courses. Most recently, to better understand the cause of the worn and broken teeth that he has seen over his career, Dr. Mamrick completed The Dawson Academy Core curriculum- one of the leading international organizations for post-graduate dental education. Through the Dawson Academy, Dr. Mamrick learned to examine and treat teeth as part of the overall masticatory system (which includes the jaw joint and the jaw muscles). This unique approach to dentistry helps him identify causes of problems, rather than simply treating the symptoms. For more information on Dawson dentistry please see: http://findadawsondentist.com/.
Dr. Mamrick is a Scholar with The Dawson Academy and a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association and Richmond Dental Society. He also has had the privilege of serving as a delegate to the Governance Meeting of the Virginia Dental Association.
Dr. Mamrick also enjoys giving back to the community. Throughout his career, he has donated his dental services to various charitable organizations, both locally and internationally.
Outside of dentistry, he has also worked on numerous Habitat for Humanity houses and in 2007 he participated in a mission trip to Pascagoula, Mississippi where he helped repair homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina.
Dr. Mamrick and his wife, Karin, are active members of Grace Bible Church in Midlothian, VA where he works with the 7&8 year-old Bible Class and assists with the maintenance of the church property.
